Our company advertises a personal finance software online. We hope to add more functionality to our existing website to attract more customers.

We would like to work with students to develop new features that are modern and easy to use. This can be achieved in HTML, CSS, JS, and/or React.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Researching different financial calculators and their advantages and disadvantages
• Developing financial calculators such as home affordability calculator or retirement calculator
• Building financial calculators, with our assistance in providing the content.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Development of a modern financial calculator
• The ability to compare different financial calculators and their useability

Bonus steps would include:

• Testing the financial calculators with users and making improvements based on user input

Final deliverables should include

• A financial calculator web page

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our current products and website design
• Our customer and industry insights
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
