This project focuses on helping JIT Logistics, a delivery and logistics startup, strengthen its digital presence and attract new clients across Ontario. Students will work on creating a scalable marketing and sales funnel tailored to the logistics sector, with an emphasis on small business clients, e-commerce retailers, and local distribution partners.


By the end of the project, students will produce a digital growth playbook that includes research, campaign strategies, and client acquisition tactics to position JIT Logistics as a competitive and trusted logistics provider.

Deliverables

What tasks will students need to complete to achieve the project goal?

  • Conduct market research on logistics and delivery trends in Ontario, including competitors and customer needs.
  • Build customer personas for small businesses, e-commerce stores, and retail partners.
  • Develop a digital marketing strategy across channels (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Instagram, email).
  • Create sample ad campaigns and content templates tailored to JIT’s audience.
  • Propose a sales funnel and CRM strategy for lead nurturing and conversions.
  • Recommend partnerships with e-commerce platforms or local businesses.
  • Build an analytics framework to track acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, and campaign ROI.

By the end of the project, students will deliver:

  • A market research report on Ontario logistics trends and competitor positioning.
  • Customer personas with insights into key client segments.
  • A digital marketing campaign plan, with sample ads and content templates.
  • A proposed sales funnel and CRM integration outline.
  • A partnership and outreach strategy for small business/e-commerce clients.
  • An analytics dashboard framework for measuring customer acquisition and retention.
  • A final Digital Growth Playbook and 10–15 minute presentation to the JIT Logistics team.
